    Development of IPM for broad-acre cropping in Australia (GRDC)

    Development of an IPM advisory service for Tasmania (HAL)

    Demonstration of IPM in brassica crops (HAL)  Funded by Horticulture Australia, this project has given growers first-hand experience of growing a crop using IPM, which has led to considerable regional uptake of IPM.

    Effect of insecticides on beneficial insects and mites in vegetable crops (HAL)  This project is funded by Horticluture Australia and AUSVEG (2006-2009).  We are testing the effects of agrichemicals on a range of beneficial species.  Particular interest concerns pesticides which are promoted by their manufacturers as being compatible with IPM.  Please call us for information on pesticides.
